FULLERTON, CA - This is my friend Maddy. She had a soccer game this morning so we stopped by to cheer her on. Go Maddy! At halftime, daddy took me out on the field and let me dribble the ball around and score goals. I think I'm ready to be on my own team. I wish coach Mark could have seen me today, he would have been so proud.

Maddy's team was real good. They're called the Blue Angels and my other friend, Rachel, is on the same team. They had a lot of fun and Maddy kicked the ball lots of times. Good job, Maddy!

FULLERTON, CA - Today was the REAL first day of school. Mommy and daddy both came this morning to drop me off in my room. I had a great day, made lots of new friends and was so excited about everything that I skipped my nap completely. Maybe I'll take one on Tuesday...we'll see.

My favorite parts of the day were music time and the puppet show. Should be a fun year with Mrs. Karen ;-)

FULLERTON, CA - Today was my first day of pre-school! Well, kind of...

Daddy took me to meet my teacher, Mrs. Karen, and show me my classroom. I played with my new friend, Cade, who will also be coming to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, just like me. We got to walk around and find the bathroom (very important), the playground and the science room. In one of the pictures that daddy took, you can see me calling mommy on the phone to tell her all about my morning.

I really like my teacher and think I'll have a lot of fun learning new things here. Daddy says that on Thursday, I get to stay for the whole day...finally!

SANTA ROSA, CA - This is my friend Candy the cat. He lives with Nana. I like to help get his food and water ready so that when he comes in the house he can eat. Whenever I call Nana on the phone I always ask where Candy is.

Can I have a cat, Daddy??

BODEGA BAY, CA - Greetings from be-yoot-iful Sonoma County. We're up at Nana & Tata's house for Aunt Julie's wedding shower (she's marrying MY friend Dave in October). This afternoon we got to go out to the coast to eat saltwater taffy, dip our toes in the cold water, play in the sand and fly a kite. Mommy got me this cute Strawberry Shortcake kite just for this trip, so luckily Dad was able to figure out how to get the thing in the air. After it was up for a while they handed me the controls. It was neat and all, but I thought there would be a bit more to flying a kite than just standing still and holding a string. I'm not good at standing still.

We had a great time out there and ate dinner at a really good restaurant called Lucas Wharf. I wasn't sure about my fish & chips, but anything tastes good when you dip it in ketchup, right?
