PLACENTIA, CA - My friend, Judah (Lindsay & Morgan's cousin) had his birthday party tonight and he invited me to come! He turned 3, which is the same as me (but I'll be 4 soon).

Aunt Julie, Uncle Dave, Morgan and Lindsay picked me up so we could all ride over to Judah's house together. We had pizza and fruit skewers for dinner - yum - and chocolate cake for dessert. We got Judah a new bathing suit and towel - I hope he likes swimming as much as I do. I really like swimming.

Happy birthday, Judah! Thanks for inviting me to your party - I had a great time.

LA HABRA HEIGHTS, CA - After church today we went to Morgan and Lindsay's house for lunch. There were lots of kids there...Me, Morgan, Lindsay, Zoe, Leah, Judah and baby Micah.

Aunt Julie and Nana made me a really good lunch of ham, jello, rolls and olives - I think that's all the major food groups, right? - we got to hunt for Easter eggs. There were lots of eggs to find so I ran really fast in my pretty dress and tried to get my bunny basket as full as I could. I think I did a good job.

Then we got to have ice cream & strawberries for dessert - yummy. Some of the kids had to go home after that so i was sad, but that just meant I got to have Nana read to me and Lindsay help me with a tea party for her dollies.

I had a great Easter. I hope you did too!

FULLERTON, CA - Happy Easter! I woke up and the Easter bunny had left something for little old me. It was a basket full of goodies, including some super-cool green bunny ears, stickers, mini-kitchen utensils, sidewalk chalk, some clothes and a new pink headband.

My daddy was a little nervous that we were being too "bunny-centric" so he asked me if I knew what Easter was really about:

Dad: "Do you know why we have Easter?"
Jenna: "Because of Jesus."
Dad: "What about Him?"
Jenna: "He rose."
Dad: "Ok, you're good - did you get any candy?"

Did he think I was sleeping thought Sunday School this month? Sheesh.

FULLERTON, CA - Today I got to go to an Easter egg hunt with all my friends from church. We had some yummy food, and then Abby and Nickola's daddy helped us sing some songs. After that we got to go outside and look for eggs. I found lots of good ones. Tomorrow we get to go to church, and then look for more eggs at Lindsay and Morgan's house. Easter is one of my favorite days! Morgan told us the Easter story last night using plastic Easter eggs. There were little things in all of the egss - except for the last one - it was empty, just like the story in the Bible...isn't that cool?!?!

FULLERTON, CA - There was a box on the porch with my name on it! It was from Grandma and Grandpa. I couldn't wait to open it! After finally getting it open and peeking inside, I found a new friend - a new Mr. Bunny! Thanks, Grandma...I love it.

LA HABRA HEIGHTS, CA - We got to go over to Morgan and Lindsay's house for dinner tonight. Uncle Dave grilled us up some burgers and dogs - yummy. My daddy had two burgers...he's a good eater. After dinner we got to decorate some cookies. The best part was eating the cookies after we were done!

FULLERTON, CA - Today we got to wear our pajamas to school. Plus we got to decorate Easter eggs and do some other fun stuff. I really like school.

SPRING TRAINING UPDATE #3 (SUNDAY)

PHOENIX, AZ - Today was our last baseball game for this trip - so we went to see Nana's A's play the Rangers. I had a good time watching the game, meeting new friends, petting the doggies, eating snacks and reading books during some of the, ahem, longer stretches of the ballgame.

I met several nice kids in the lawn area that I wanted to play with. One of the little girls was named Ally. She was from Texas, but Daddy let me play with her anyways. She had a baseball that one of the players had given her earlier so we rolled that back and forth in the grass. She was nice.

The baseball game was very exciting and I cheered with my new pom-pom as the A's came from behind to grab a victory.

For dinner, we went to Macayo's for mexican food, but I had chicken tenders. Still delicious.

Tomorrow we go home...it will be nice to sleep in my own bed, but I'll miss Nana, Tata and our hotel. I like our hotel.

SPRING TRAINING UPDATE #2 (SATURDAY)

PHOENIX, AZ - Today was a beautiful sunny day in Arizona, so I thought there was no better way to start my day than go for a swim. My dad was nice enough to come in the water and play a bit with me. We splashed, and jumped, and dove for things at the bottom. It was a great way to start our day.

After swimming we headed over to Maryvale to watch the Brewers host the Royals. Aunt Julie was in charge of the seating and she, like always, did a great job! She scored us some sweet seats right behind home plate, and even picked up a couple extra in the grass section beyond left field for when we wanted to stretch our legs or rest on a blanket in the shade for a bit. I think my favorite part of the game today was the sausage race, although singing "YMCA" with Aunt Julie was really fun too.

For dinner we headed over to downtown Tempe and enjoyed Pizzeria Uno - just like last year! Then we went to the book store so Nana could read to me. On our way home we drove through a place with a yellow "M" to get a little something sweet for dessert. I love ice cream cones ;-)
