My dad caught me "reading" one of my favorite new books. It's called "Bear Hugs" and is about a little bear and all the different kinds of hugs he gets from his mommy and his daddy. I got it for my birthday and I really like it. See for yourself in this video:

MONDAY - It's actually my birthday, today - finally!! After breakfast at another one of my favorite places (Polly's) everyone started to go home. Cousin Isabella went back to Las Vegas, Nana and Tata went back to Santa Rosa, and Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie 'Manda got ready to go back to Castro Valley, but not before - you guessed it - more presents!! Grandma and Grandpa gave me an Aquadoodle which is great for expressing my artistic side without expressing it on my bedroom wall...thanks Grandma & Grandpa!

For dinner, Aunt Julie and her friend Dave took me to El Cholo in La Habra - which is one of my daddy's favorite places. Hey, wait a second...why did we go to daddy's favorite place if it's my birthday...hmmmm. Anyways, it was great because not only did I get chips, beans and rice - I got to pick a toy and have my picture taken wearing a big sombrero...yes, I know what that is - my friend Dora teaches me Spanish - AdiĆ³s para ahora, mis amigos.

SUNDAY - After church we got to go to lunch at my favorite place, SoupPlantation! I got to show cousin Isabella how fun it is to get all your food in individual little cups and eat just what you want, whenever you want it...and then eat some more. After my nap, I got to open some more presents - this time I got some books, a princess Memory game and my very own Bible - it even has my name on it! Thanks, Nana & Tata!

SATURDAY - Well it's still my birthday. In fact, tonight was the "big" party! My cousin Isabella made it in time for some swinging before dinner. She brought her mom (Auntie 'Bekah) and dad (Uncle Brian) from Las Vegas - Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie 'Manda, Nana, Tata, Aunt Julie and her friend Dave were all there too. Dinner was delicious, we had ice cream cake for dessert, and I got to open some of my presents...too many to list all of them here, but a few of my favorites from tonight were my blue Cinderella dress, my new dog (don't get too excited...it makes noise, but it isn't real), and Candyland (the Dora version, of course). I was so happy to have everyone at my house - I even got to hug my cousin "good-night" - it looks like I'm trying to wrestle with her in the picture, but I'm just giving her some love.

FULLERTON, CA - Grandpa, Grandma and Auntie 'Manda are in town so we took them to the Fullerton Arboretum this morning. I got to see all kinds of flowers plus some turtles, ducks and some really big birds! It was a beautiful day for a nature walk, and they even had a special "house" that was just my size and covered with pretty purple flowers. Thanks for a fun morning, guys!

This is my friend Aiden...I think he's sweet on me ;-)

NEWPORT BEACH, CA - Happy Birthday to me! Well, it feels like my birthday anyways, because I got to have a party with my friends at Build-a-Bear at Fashion Island. We all got to pick out an animal first, then we stuffed them with fluff, gave them a heart (or seven), cleaned and brushed them, picked out an outfit or two, and finally printed out their birth certificates. It was really fun. Then we got to go to McDonalds for lunch and presents. I was so excited about my new clothes from Maddy and Matthew that I changed into my new outfit right on the floor of McDonalds! Well, why not?!

These are all my friends that came today: (top row) Maddy, Matthew, Abby (bottom row) Nickola, Me, Aiden & "baby" Mikaela. Thanks for coming everyone!

LA HABRA HEIGHTS, CA - Happy Easter! We went to church this morning and then we got to go over to Morgan and Lindsay's house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt...fun! We had ham, potatoes, broccoli salad, jello, rolls, green beans and two different kinds of pie. Wow - I was stuffed, but not too stuffed for a little candy ;-) Hey, isn't my birthday coming up soon?

LA HABRA, CA - Aunt Julie took me to my friends Sean & Anna's house tonight to color Easter eggs! It was really fun, but I think I liked eating the eggs even more than coloring them. I had one as an apetizer before we started coloring the eggs and I think I'll have one for breakfast tomorrow morning too. Mmmm, yummy. Then we frosted some cookies and my friend Morgan read me a story about three trees...it was a very good book. It was quite a night...I hope mommy and daddy had fun at the Angel game ;-)

NORWALK, CA - A couple weeks ago Aunt Julie took me to a farm. Her friends Eric and Ashley live at Paddison Farm in Norwalk. I got to meet bunnies, chickens, birds and even see a couple of live peacocks! After meeting all of the animals we had a picnic lunch. I think it's safe to say that after all of that I was pretty wiped out, so I took a little snooze on the way home (while holding on to my souvenir - a peacock feather). Thanks for a great morning, everyone...I had so much fun!

FULLERTON, CA - Easter Egg hunt #2 is in the books! Mommy invited me to the egg hunt that was in the garden at her school, so I brought my dad. First we sang some songs in the library with all the kids, then we made some bags to keep all our eggs in, and then we got to go find eggs in the garden and finally it was time for treats! Yummy cookies and juice were the perfect ending to a great morning! Thanks for inviting me to your school, Mommy. Unfortunately, I think I only have one egg hunt left :-( See you on Easter!
