FULLERTON, CA - Daddy had the day off of work today so we got to hang out. I'd been wanting to have a "breakfast picnic" like Strawberry Shortcake does in her book, and we finally got to do it today! Daddy made me "Peek-a-boo Eggs" - Yummy!! My egg was in the shape of a heart...can you see it?

After breakfast we got to got to Target. Whenever we go to Target I get the Icee and popcorn combo (it's only $1.29 - what a deal!) to keep me busy while I ride around in the cart. We found a couple things we needed (and a couple things we didn't need , but bought anyways) and then headed for home.

After dinner, we got to go to Babies R' Us to look at "boy stuff" for my baby brother. There are lots of neat things to look at there. I picked out a couple things I thought he might like, but we made it out of there without actually buying anything.

It was a fun day - thanks for staying home today, daddy!

ANAHEIM, CA - I'd like to start by wishing my Auntie 'Manda a very happy birthday. Happy Birthday, Amanda - hope you have a great day!!

Now, on to what I got to do today. My daddy didn't have to go to work, so we decided to take a quick trip down to Disneyland this morning. We'd been waiting for just the right time to go on the new "Finding Nemo" submarine ride, and we finally went on it this morning. I'll be honest, it was a little scary. Maybe it was too dark and noisy, or maybe it was the sharks and whales, but I watched the last part of the ride through my fingers with my hands on my face. At least Nemo finds his daddy at the end - that was the best part.

After Nemo, we went on Dumbo and Casey Jr. Railroad. Then we got to go visit the Princesses. Mommy took me to get my face painted while daddy waited in the long line to meet the Princesses. I got to meet Jasmine, Belle and Mulan. As you can see from the pictures, I was a little scared at first, but I warmed up to them later on.

A quick trip on Small World and then we took the Disneyland Railroad back to the front of the park.

I'd better go take my nap - I'm going to Morgan and Lindsay's house tonight ;-)

FULLERTON, CA - Aunt Judy (she's actually my daddy's aunt, but I get to call her Aunt Judy too) got us a set of colored ice cream sundae glasses for Christmas. What a great gift! Anything that leads to the consumption frozen sugar is OK by me.

We used the glasses for the first time tonight - they worked great. I got the pink one, of course, and, as you can see, my sundae was good to the last drop. Mmmmm, thanks, Aunt Judy!

LA HABRA HEIGHTS, CA - Today my Aunt Julie decided to teach us how to sew. First, we got to go to the fabric store. You should see all the stuff they have in there! I already had my Strawberry Shortcake fabric, but Morgan and Lindsay got to pick out some other pretty things. After we got our supplies, we headed back to Morgan and Lindsay's house to sew. Aunt Julie got out her sewing machine and went to work. After a while, we got to stuff our pillows. I love my new Strawberry Shortcake pillow - I even sleep on it now! Next time we sew, we're all going to make aprons for when we cook.

Thanks for teaching us how to sew, Aunt Julie! I can't wait for my next lesson!

LA HABRA HEIGHTS, CA - Happy New Year!! I stayed up late last night...later than I ever have before. I went to Sean and Anna's house for dinner and then the kids played upstairs while the adults played some boring card game called, "Hearts." Then, for some reason, we had to stop what we were doing and start counting backwards from 10 to 1. Whatever...I just stayed upstairs. I did come downstairs for a little snack...brownies and ice cream AFTER midnight - woohoo!!

Today we got to go to Morgan and Lindsay's house - Sean and Anna were there too - for food, folks and fun. We chased Mr. McGinty's new RC car around the backyard and tried to catch it. It wasn't easy - he's got a fast car! It seemed like all the daddy's enjoyed that little activity...they were laughing pretty hard.

After it got dark, we went inside and played school. Anna was the teacher and I was her student. That was fun ;-) Then it was time to go home. Daddy was mumbling something about the football games being "blowouts."

Thanks for having me over, everyone. Happy New Year!!
